Women are killed by their husbands because of chauvinism

Today we can watch on TV news about a lot of dead women that have been killed by their husbands. When the police investigates these deaths, they discover that the reason is frequently jealousy.

After all of it, the question is: What can our society do to avoid these deaths?

Firstly, in my opinion society must give to these facts the real importance that women deserve. Since the beginning of the twentieth century, men have believed that women can´t do the same work as good as they do, but it is not true. Women can do the same jobs that men do and they also do more jobs that men really are not able to do.

On the other hand, I believe that women must be respected although they are the feeble sex. And if they are attacked by some men, they must report the fact to the police from the beginning. Then, the government should increase the penalty years to men who have killed their wives or girlfriends.

In conclusion, I believe that we can do more to avoid this kind of murders. Anyway, the government has to protect the female sex.
